What was the word for someone who goes on forums just to start trouble ?
Someone who finds a topic that they know will attract more posters to react and argue with them ? Am I using the wrong description ?

I think we all give advice based on our own experience with our birds. I only have conures and when someone asks for advice on how to discourage biting or cage aggression etc.. in conures, I believe each of us give ideas as to how we handled the situation with our birds. Every bird is different and each person's personality is different and I believe that has a lot to do with birdie relationships. But this forum is excellent for sharing ideas such as this. People should not be expecting expert medical advice from people on this forum, we just reply based on our experience and usually we always advise them to go to the vet. I find the forums useful for ideas for toys, behavior, etc but even in those respects, no one should expect the advice given to help their birdie relationship as (like I said before) each person and each bird is different.
I personally love the stories and pics shared on this forum.

I think we should not go calling people names -_- I know we're not that low :( We shouldn't be attacking them. Rather trying to help them. after this discussion all I can say is that we aren't professionals but speak from experience. If you're unsure talk to a vet or some one avian certified and if you need medical advice or it's life or vet get to the hospital.

Speaking as a Newbie here, I joined knowing that this is a "Discussion Board" plain and simple. I've seen/read posts from some very knowledgeable folks, but if I had a great concern would seek advice from my vet. I enjoy reading stories and truly appreciate the advice given. I've been told (or seen) many times to contact a vet and (in Forest Gump voice) that's all I have to say about that lol

lol thanks Dejavu!

For your information Mara , I wasn't speaking of you . I was speaking of the Poster with the Lorikeet and her vets advice.
Wish I had seen this earlier this morning , maybe it wouldn't have blown up like it did.
But truth be told , your the one wanting to label , not I.

Yes troll. I put out a good explanation for all to read a while back. Trollers know everything and love to engage you in a debate that you will never win. It take a little while to pick one out but we do. In the past years we have had some real doozies for lack of a better word. Best way to handle them is to ignore. They will go away if we do not ban first. : Internet Trolling - A Reposting for New Members

I can't post what I think of him on here Paul, you are evil for mentioning his name :p

I'm a huge fan of "The Turtle Man".
Has anybody seen it ? He's in the backwoods of Kentucky..
He catches wildlife with his bare hands in homes , businesses etc..and releases it in a better place. I give myself a headache from laughing so much when I watch him....
"There's nobody more backwoods then Turtle Man"
OMG , it's 1130pm ! "Nite Nite" my Yoshi would say :)
