My Husband had emergency surgery Tuesday morning after being in the ER all night. He had appendicitis. I ended up being awake for about 3 days straight. So glad it's over and got to finally get in my own bed last night.

Thank goodness for my daughter Taylor. She managed the birds while I was gone. It's so much easier once your non feathered children are older...

He's still very sore but at least we are home now. Things should get back to normal soon I hope..

A happy ending! It could have been much more serious. Your a great companion to all!

Oh my you must have felt like you had the surgery too! Good thing your children are nearby to help out in a pinch. I am not so fortunate. Let the healing begin!!

I'm glad everyone's doing well and aren't you lucky that there were enough caregivers to go around!

Great for your daughter to take on a responsibility like that!! Glad everything was all right.... :)

You hit the nail on the head, great when your non feathered children are older.
Glad it all ended well, wishing hubby a speedy recovery.
Have a well deserved rest

I hope all is going well for both of you.

It is good that you have your kids close to help,

Both of you get some rest.

I did sleep for about 18hrs was in catch up mode. He still worried about his stomach. I have to look @ it a few times a day to assure him its ok.. he's going to drive me to drink

Hope all is going well, us guys can be wusses when we are sick and have surgery... I had 18" of my colon taken out a few years ago and I knew everytime I moved it was going to cause something to come apart....
