I'm flying a few hours away to adopt an eight year old GCC named Sinbad from the Alaska bird rescue club.
Currently I have 1 year old Button, my pineapple gcc, shes a very good girl that has began to take a step back from favoring me and now favors my newest addition to the flock, Loki, a yellow sided GCC that is about 16 weeks old. He has began stepping up recently.
I was very upset when Button stopped favoring me, but I've decided to be happy with her being at her happiest, which is with other birds.
I think that adding another gcc to our flock will be a great choice, and help to break up the romance between Loki and Button.

My next conure is going to be a very special buy, as I will be looking online for a blue GCC and flying out of state to get it.
