Entertaining my birds while I'm gone?

Hi everyone!

I was wondering what methods you guys use to entertain your birds while you're out of the house, or just busy doing something else. I leave the TV or radio on for my birds, but what do your birds prefer?

I've been pretty sick recently so my birds have unfortunately been spending more time in their cage than I would like. I've gotten new medication to help me but it'll take a few weeks to adjust, and in the meantime, it makes me incredibly sleepy. I want my birds at least be somewhat stimulated even if I can't give them one on one as much as I would like right now. Unfortunately my family members aren't an option either, as they don't like my birds. I've been trying to at least sit in the room with my birds and talk to them, even if I don't have the energy to take them out and keep them out of trouble.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

My CAG just has the radio on whilst im out of the room or at work so I cant really add anything other than i hope you get yourself sorted soon. After work some days ill have a nap in my chair and Enzo will normally fly down and sit on my knee. Maybe I will wake up an hour later and she is still in the exact same position, i dont know whether she sleeps too or not.

Not everyday, but I left the Olympics on for them on the TV in the last week, and again today.

I don't really have a consistent reasoning for it, lately there's been something of a grey-weather stretch and leaving the TV on for them makes me feel better at any rate, lol.

When the weather is bright and sunny, there's a bird-feeder directly outside their window that should provide stimulation (when I remember to restock it, anyway).

Otherwise part of learning how to self-soothe in a healthy way is day-time stretches of alone-time with foraging toys and such. At the moment my webcam shows Mango's fine enough (Mochi being a bit farther back, is harder to tell but from the movement I saw seems to be hanging contentedly in her usual 'I'm-a-bat' sort of way).

I'll have to consider some foraging toys. They have plenty of wood ones, but nothing like that. Thanks!
