Entering "Bird-dom"

Hello everyone! My husband and I adopted a pair of budgies (male- Azure and female- Alysra; and they might as well be love birds) about a year ago and just recently added to our "zoo" (we already have 3 cats and an English Mastiff) with a Cinnamon Green Cheek Conure named Emerris. We are new to this whole bird thing, but are quickly finding that we are IN LOVE with our Conure!

He is now as spoiled as the rest of the furry family, and has made himself at home on my shoulder. He also "gave" us his preferred routine of a morning bath followed by his favorite fruit (blueberries or apples) and kale. lol

He is just a little guy, with a hatch day of March 17, 2014, but he has made his way into our hearts VERY quickly in the 4 weeks we've had him. I am excited to be around others who have a greater knowledge and I am eager to learn as much as I can that can benefit my little boy.

Welcome!! We have had our cockatiel Poptart since April. He is 6 months old now, and our families first bird. Right now we have 3 cats and a rat. I would love to get another tiel someday. They are amazing!

This is Emeriss, I am hoping I uploaded it correctly. Last night we entered a new "phase". At 3am the budgies decided to twitter about and Emeriss yelled back at them. It was 3 minutes of cover your ears and then 12 minutes of laughter. We keep Azure and Alysra upstairs in the computer room/office and we have Emeriss in the living room, with a cage in the computer room for when we are in there. so they were yelling across the house at each other.

I'll have to see if I can find some new pictures of the budgies to post. The only pictures on my work computer is when they were babies.
