I just learned that I can edit the movies I take on my tablet with iMovie on the desktop. I'm using a Mac, but I think the PC has an equivalent program. It's a free or nearly free product. iMovie allowed me to crop down the frame of the movie to just show the main character, let me bump up the saturation and change the contrast and white point. Then I used it to trim the beginning and end off the video and post it to YouTube.
Probably y'all already know this, but it was news to me...I had to get far away from Gus to make a video showing him on top of his cage, and then it was such a small amount of the frame. iMovie let me crop it down and fix the exposure.
