Yeah, an edible craft idea! It's a bit finicky to do, that's why I call it a craft. Basically you need two food items:
-Macaroni noodles
-A bird safe food that can be squirted into the middle of the macaroni. Can even be pureed chop!
and you need a syringe withOUT A NEEDLE (You can get ones at a pharmacy for kids that work great).
You basically suck up the puree and squirt it into the center of the macaroni. That easy. It just takes time and some way of keeping the syringe free of blocking. I used it on Rats years ago when feeding some meds. Thought I'd try the unmedicated version on my birds and VOILA! They enjoyed it! A variation on this would be to use cannelloni, which can be stuffed with regular chop.
