Eclectus pair plucking?

Don't want to hijack this thread completely so I sent a pm on the types of trees.

While I was trying to prove a point I am truly concerned about this ekkie pair and really want to be helpful. You saying that you haven't gotten very helpful posts is rather insulting considering the amount of people including myself that have tried to provide you with accurate, knowledgeable advise.

Okay this is going to take some time to type it out but I am going to give you today's feeding routine, this is an average day there are days when it gets much more involved. All ingredients are organic even when I didn't make a point of it since I didn't want to type it a million times. LOL!

This morning at 7:30 am they got a warmed (in a pan not a microwave) a mix of all organic black rice, quinoa and sprouted mung beans to which I added celery chopped fine, carrots, peas, corn, red peppers and black beans and sprouted seeds and beans. The sprouted seeds are garbanzo, sunflower, fenugreek and lentils.

Later in the day they each got a teaspoon of pomegranates which they all love.

Late afternoon and early supper that I just gave, also warmed and is also organic... wheat berries, farro (grain, has a nutty flavor), Black barley, organic golden raisins (very small amount) and cranberries dried with no sulfides and apple diced small. To which I added after it cooled a small amount each of, dried organic Hibiscus flowers, chamomile flowers, rosehips and a special made for parrots organic dried herb salad. This product is made by Twin Beaks Aviary and is called Herb salad. It has plantain, red clover, dandelion, elderberry, echinacea, milk thistle, oatstraw, Pau d' Arco, Thyme leaf, Astragalus, Wheatgrass, Barberry, Chickweed, Yarrow, Olive leaf, Lavender, Marshmallow and other small amounts of different herbs. This salad herb is not given often though, about once a week or so. Sometimes I will put in chopped fresh herbs instead such as Kale, cilantro, Italian parsley or fresh sprouts which I am constantly making.

Tonight they will get some dehydrated goodys like kale and zucchini chips as well as a few Harrison's organic pellets and a little Volkman's seed for eclectus. This will stay in their bowls until tomorrow when the whole thing is repeated. Once a week they get organic egg with the shell added to the morning mash and once a week they get a serving of Blessings nectar to drink, along with the two warmed meals and the dried stuff as well. I made it a point to purchase many bowls of the same size so that I can just change out the food in clean new bowls.

I will also add that mine only get filtered water to drink and bathe in. Their water is changed at least twice a day. For fruit I will add usually to their afternoon/evening meal things such as cantaloupe, kiwi, berries, grapes, dragon fruit or whatever I can find organic and fresh at the store.
So I hope you find this helpful and that it will give you some new ideas on what to feed.

Thanks for the glimpse into your feeding menu, Labell! I'll be trying a few of those foods with Bixby for increased variety.
