I got a T stand on wheels, and I have seen really nice play stands on wheels too and I roll it right up to the cage door. It extends his area and he didn't feel as threatened leaving the cage because he could go back and forth at his will.
Also as I am starting to train him more it was easier to get him on the T stand and take him to other locations in the house.
This I found really helped because he isn't stick trained and it also stopped him from being on top of the cage all the time. I have toys there he only gets on the T stand and certain treats I only give him on the stand. H ereally enjoys it now.
