Thought I'd make something special for my birds for Thanksgiving!
Here's the recipe!!!
Dry Ingredients
1/2 cup coconut flour (Any bird safe flour can be used)
3-4 tbsp. ground flaxseed (Or whole)
3 tbsp. coconut flakes
3 tbsp. rolled oats
1/2 tbsp. Ceylon cinnamon
1 tbsp. herb blend (From Texas Natural Freeze Dried Products)
2 tsp. ground cuttlebone
1 tbsp. budgie seed
Wet Ingredients
1 sweet potato (Cooked for 4 min. in the mircowave then mashed)
1/4-1/2 cup frozen or fresh dragonfruit (Also mashed)
1 egg
1/2-1 cup of water, add slowly so you don't make it too wet.
Combine ingredients in bowl until mixed.
Put in a bird safe pan (I used a glass casserole pan) then grease with coconut oil.
Cook at 350F for 25 min. (Check ever 10-12 min. with a toothpick.)
Let you bird enjoy once it's cooled
