Hello, i recently got a yellow sided green cheek conure, and i put his cage in my room, but the only place i can fit the cage is right in the path of my AC unit. so when i turn it on, it blows on him, is this going to make him get sick? or am i just paranoid?

No breeze as well, it's basically the same as a draft.

wow okay, well, im stumped, becuase theres really no place where there isnt a window or draft, what if i covered the side of the cage where the AC is blowing so there is no draft?

I would still not risk iT.........., even if covering the sides of the cage, where the AC is blowing.
There could still be a draft !!!!!!

well, there are a bunch of windows in my house, and my mom likes to keep them open for a breeze, i am making a loft in my room, but its soooo hot in there, like on a hot summer day it gets about 103F in there! and if i cant have any breezes or anything, i cant put a windoe or fan up there. so im stumped! i guess ill leave my air off untill i can figure something out

I hear what you are saying and going through.....
Sorry not trying to confuse you further, but too much heat is also not good.

I think the key is no dramatic changes in temperature - which being in front of an AC would produce. A breeze from outside would be ok if the air flow is a similar temperature to what's in the room and it's not a strong gush of wind - does that make sense?
