Domnijoe - The Art Studio and Bird Herder's Residence

You should check for used cages. So many people try to get rid of big bird cages cheap if you want a bigger cage but with lots of out of cage time yours would be fine.
Have you heard anything about a refund?
Just make sure you clean the hell out of it first!

An update on the african grey situation:

Going to be adopting an older (13? yr old????), male, congo grey. I think his name is Yvone. :) Gonna ask more questions about the bird. SHipping will be in May some time.

Another update: the Congo grey I'm interested in is 17 years old. His name is Yvone, and he's apparently quite the affectionate bird. He sings, dances, and loves the occasional cuddle. It should be interesting with him around!

Got pix of Yvons! I was also given a video of the boy, but I have no idea how to save those :P

He looks so handsome! Is he being aggressive to his shadow?

Off topic, but I saw something online last night about smuggled animals and it showed a cageful of beautiful CAGs that had been confiscated at an African airport and photos of Citron created cockatoos stuffed into plastic water bottles LIVE! I couldn't believe it. They must have drugged the poor birds.

Grrrrrr... heard the neighbors downstairs talking about me again, saying they're gonna complain about me/my noise and the litter box smell to the landlord.

**Scream of frustration** And the noise are my cats and dog playing. The birds don't seem to bother them as much, thank the gods.

UPDATE ON YVONS, the CAG:

His arrival looks like it's gonna be between May 5th and 9th. I am nervous as heck, as I have a convention for 3 days when Yvons finally comes home (Well, he'll have been in my home for 2 weeks before the convention), and I need the pet sitter to come over and meet everyone. Oy. I'm stressed, nervous, and very afraid. I don't want to mess up my relationship with Yvons...

I have treats, cage set up, toys made and a cage cover chosen. Now all I need is the bird. :D

How is he getting to your place? Shipping? Don't you worry about shipping a parrot? You have to go away for three days?

Talk a deep breath. Start with these questions. Then pretend to be an Xmas elf. Make a list, check it thrice. Then bring reality in for it's check. Anticipation is fun but it does like to mess with the mind and emotions.
