This was taken in Brazil by a bystander. It has a happy ending. There was no forum that fit because these dolphins are not pets and let's pray no dolphin is ever anyones pet.

Poor things were chasing a school of fish and stranded themselves doing it. Good thing there were bystanders and they were willing to help. Dolphins are so very close to my heart

I always worry about what I would do if I found beached whales or dolphins, because chances are, I wouldn't have a bucket with me to keep them wet, and I'd worry about people harassing it. I'm glad all those people quickly and calmly helped those dolphins, but I think pulling them by the fluke is dangerous and potentially harmful to the dolphin (I think being dragged across the sand can cause severe burns, and those tails are unbelievably powerful... imagine if you were pulling one and it whipped its tail and broke your nose... yikes!) I have no idea what I'd do in this situation! I just absolutely adore cetaceans.

I was a little worried about the rescue people dragging the dolphins backwards into the surf and further out. A little longer , or farther , dolphins could have drown !
But , they did a great job saving those beautiful creatures.
