Is homing a conure at 7 weeks too soon or just depends?
My green cheek is 7 weeks. I was told the baby was ready. Was told what fruits and vegetables heās enjoying. Iām not experiencing that here. He will not eat any of it even chopping it to the tiniest pieces but heāll take it hand fed. His crop will get larger hand fed. He becomes alert and active.
He is eating pellets and occasionally drinking. I do not see a large crop when heās in his cage. The second day I hand fed his pellets, he was struggling to find them in his cage no matter where I placed the bowl. Now I leave pellets all over his floor just in case. He prefers eating from the floor. Today is the 4th day, he seems to be more active because heās eating better.
Iām wondering if he should of stayed on formula while grazing pellets.
