I Hello all,
As I continue my exploration of the possibility owning a new bird for the first time in 12 years, I'm curious about the price of birds.
Once a year I spend a week at the beach 3 hrs drive from my house, and where I go there happens to be a parrot specialist shop (not sure if they do the breeding themselves or are merely retail and source the birds elsewhere) along my route.
I'm thinking, should I decide I want a bird and happen to stop in, find the bird of my dreams as I'm driving home, and was willing to buy bird, cage, and accessories there, are these places generally willing to make a deal?
Are the prices with breeders usually firm? Has anyone tried to negotiate for the price of a newborn or is demand too high
If it helps, I'm strongly considering a blue crown.
Tha md for your help!
