How cute! Mishka is such a smart little boy!

My Timneh Grey watches TV alot and likes ice hockey (perhaps the quick moves?). She was warching a nature program about eagles once and when the flock on TV took off, so did she!

My birdies do not watch much TV. It may be because I do not either. Just the news and a few fav. programs.

Oh no, maybe he got the idea from dieter....lol [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwO-EZkIcFk]Dieter the Budgie 18 - YouTube[/ame] I'm too sexy for my rock.... lol

I probably should have thrown in there that that's not one of my birds, I'm just a fan :)

And mishka is so cute. Our birds don't really watch tv, but neither do we. Billie does like to sit on my boyfriends head while he plays his video games though. :)
He's even taken up a fascination with his "gun" for his hunting game. Hopefully he doesn't realize he's virtually hunting ducks and geese :11:

He's not actually pointing the gun at him, he was pointing it at the tv but billie kept trying to look down the barrel lol

Merlin watches tv, his favorite is Scooby doo, tom & jerry. He also loves the commercial from 1 of the insurance co's, the robot monster comes & destroys Dwane's house. He squeals & gets excited when it comes on. I dont know if you guys see it in SA.

My fids like Dora the Explorer and Sesame street. They get all excited when they hear the theme songs. Silly birds!

My scarlet macaw seems to enjoy tv. I change the chanel to cartoons for a 1/2 hr a day. He laughs louder and gets very animated during Phenis and Ferb. My CAG picked up hola and uno from Handy Manny :)

I just have to ask my Nanday if she wants the TV on and she goes bonkers. She especially likes Frasier and Judge Judy, but will watch pretty much anything. She also learned cuss words and some other strange things from watching TV. The other day she told me, "I'm gonna get hooked up." I know I didn't teach her that, lol!

Years ago there was a game show called The Weakest Link that she went completely bonkers over. People learned not to call me when it was on. Even if she saw a commercial for it, or if it was on in the background of another TV show, she went nuts.

Right now her new favorite show is Petkeeping, on the Hallmark channel. She just loves seeing all the other parrots and critters and tries to yell back at the other conures.

I should add that my amazon has learned to cheer when a football team scores. The problem is he keeps cheering for the wrong team. Of course it would help if my team managed to do better, lol! He yells out, "Wooo!" But, because of him I also yell "Wooo!" when my team scores.

Pearl just loves to stare at the tv and it seems to put her to sleep!

Kevin loves TV! I tend to leave nick jr on for him if i'm going to be gone a while, he loves the colors. He also really likes Buffy, he get's excited if he hears the theme song.

Peaches (my Caique), likes watching the football and music channels with me. When I say something to the TV (to the ref while watching footie), shell squawk at a high tone.... Kinda funny.

I watch a lot of movies on my laptop. Nothing like snuggling down with the bird and a good film! He seems to enjoy it anyway.

ye I think they can watch tv, my friends bird gets excited when she watched Discovery Channel too, especially when other birds are on. She flies over to the tv and puts her beak on the screen, tries to say hello. So cute. I think it just depends on what the bird is interested in.
