What Mikey has said is true. I have both Amazons & Cockatiels & i think if they are fed a well balanced diet there is no reason we can't have them around for many years. Birds can get sick just like people. We need to learn the very first signs of illness, usually that will show up in their droppings.

A bit diffrent than people though. They don't get colds or flus or anything like that.
But no. Each one has there Potental illness and are all dangerous
