So I ordered a kit to test Caesar to see if he's a boy or girl (I hope he's a boy since we've been calling him Caesar). It's a feather collection kit and I'm waiting on it in the mail. From what I've been told you need chest feathers and since I can't bring myself to ever pluck any of his feathers the owner at my favorite pet shop said he would do it for me. But now I'm questioning what if Caesar is a girl? Caesar is definitely not a girls name. So a name change would be definite. The name for a girl would be Ziggy. Should I stop calling him by name until I'm sure? He hears pretty bird a lot so not sure if he even knows his name is Caesar. Any advice on this matter? Anyone been through the same?
