DNA sexing - Avian biotech reliable?

Ok - who knows...maybe he will sit nice and still for me. ;)
I have a nice big green towel set aside just for him.

Thanks for asking questions Dopey lol answers were helpful to me as well. :)

Yep, I agree with Julie. Toweling works best for everyone concerned when collecting feather samples. Just make sure it's an extra large bath towel and fold it over a time or 2 as they can bite through a towel easily enough. Also it's wise NOT to use a family member's favorite towel btw:54:

That's the way to go! Not sure what the problem was, there were only a "few" holes!! :)

Oh my - good thing I wasn't drinking anything at the moment I read your comment.

Thanks to Yeti I have to buy a new sweater now. But hey - we all know that I love to buy things.

Ok - but if I come back to work on Tuesday with bloody fingers...I'm going to let you all know. :D

Can I use tweezers with the Amazon?

If you come back & post that you got bloody fingers, we'll know for sure that you don't follow directions well...OR...you exhibited nervousness & got nailed for that instead of plucking the feathers ! ! !

You're better off to use a medium pair of hemostats or needle-nosed pliers, so your nervous fingers can hold the feathers when you pluck ! ! !

Since you seem to be a real worry wort, I will offer you good luck.....

I do believe that I have both of those around...some where. I'm sure about the pliers. Wow - I never thought of that.
