Well I just got an email and pic from the store that the DNA test came back and its a little girl! I just had a feeling it was a boy and had those thoughts of alpha male and such. My Czech breed working German Shepherd is alpha enough with out adding another!:p
Actually quite pleased to hear that its a she but now what to name her?! Just wish I lived close enough to visit her. I think the wife is alittle jealous. Local feed store has a pair of U2's. My wife and I are about the only customers the owners let fool with them. The female is named Nikki and starts calling me saying "I love you" as soon as she sees me. Jake my Nanday that passed was really bonded with my wife and I think she is afraid this little girl will be mine. She will be ok. She is housewife and will spend more time with her than me. Probably end up bonded to her like Jake was!:D
I have read some of the behavior differences in the sexes but most pertain to the bigger Too's. Are the differences less in the smaller ones or about the same? Can't wait to get her home!

The smaller toos are a lot easier to deal with then the bigger toos. You would love her very much! The bonding part just depends on the bird, it doesn't mean since your wife is home more often that the bird would be bonded to her! I work a lot more and longer hours then my partner and certain birds would only come to me, no one else. So it just all depends. She's a pretty girl!!!

She is such a cutie!!!! I agree with what MikeyTN said. It isn't always about who spends the time with them that they bond to. Peppers (my Cag) LOVES my husband, and I am the one who spends all day with her and takes care of her. She is supposed to me my bird, but she is Daddy's girl!!! (kinda ticks me off - lol)

OH that is jut too cute !!!! OMG :)
I love the name Lacey too , just seems to really fit her :)
Good luck with her , she's beautiful .
