I long thought that doing a DNA avian sex test was expensive, hundreds of dollars. But I learned from members on this forum that it's not expensive at all. For under $30 you get sent a kit. You get a blood or feather sample and send it to their laboratory, within 2 or 3 days they have a result for you.
Good for sexing young parrots and species that are hard to distinguish sex.
