A while ago I bought some metal rings from the craft store to make dream catchers... Well, that project never happened and I've been remodeling toys lately, and found the rings and thought I could make one of these...

I think the rings are too small to make an atom for chili, but I have smaller ones to make something for our budgie too.

That is great! I love it! I'm sure Chili must love it! :D

He's definitely interested in it, but hasn't gotten on it yet. I think I need to put it in a better spot though and attach a toy to it for extra fun.

I got one ring done for Quigley- are 5" rings are too small to make an atom for a budgie??

Give Chili a while to inspect his new ring-swing - it's just new is all. I made one for the Beaks and they spent ages getting used to it. Now, they hang upside-down from it and swing it and chomp on the rope! :D

Why don't you make an atom for Quigley and see how he likes it? If he's not too fussed, you could separate the rings again and make a two-ring swing-thing instead.

Dommie is a snuggler: there's nothing he loves better than to get on top of the cages and burrow into the place where the two cage covers (old bedsheets) meet. I've been meaning to take a small ring (6"or so) and attach many strips of fleece to it to make a snuggle-ring. I bet Dom will love that - maybe Chili would too? :)
