i am making this thread to give you guys ideas, see if the ones i have would even work, and let you guys share your own ideas. so post away!
right now i only have one idea....so here it is. let me know if this could work.
get some corn on the cob and cook it like normal but let it cool. screw in a SS eye hook all the way and tie the loop on the eye hook to the cage bars(on top) with some string(bird safe of courseXD). this will let it swing around. they can eat it but will have to hold onto it and move around. it would wok best if they like corn, otherwise they wont want to work for it....lol. it is even better because if you have a small bird, cut of just a peice of the corn(still on the cob) for a smaller amount. have a big bird? use the whole cob!
would that foraging idea work?
