Parrots
American Yellowface parrotlet "paquito"
Green IRN "Georgey"
2 budgies "lemon" and "sky"
since i have my parrotlet and my IRN in the same room, is it difficult to tame my IRN while having my parrotlet there:confused::yellow2::green2::D
any advice or tips is appreciated

If you can take them to a quiet (yet familiar) area with less distractions for taming/training that is often better. However, I have read that if you use good eye contact and body language, birds know when they are being spoken to. Its best that they are on the opposite sides of the room though to start with. Are you actually having problems or just asking the question?

Good luck ;)

I guees you won't know until you try it, but should it become a problem you could consider getting a T-stand and do your training in another part of the house.

yes they are opposite sides of the house, and he is still shy, but he goes outside his cage and stays on top, funny thing to, he sometimes sleeps outside, he is still not step up trainable

It may be that your trying to rush things to quickly, you've only recently brought the bird into your home, and its obvious you haven't gained the birds trust, you really must have a bond with the bird before you can expect any training to begin, without that your really just going through an excercise in futility, take your time and be patient, for your sake and your fid's ;)
