Hay all...
just got diamond Home from her owner I must say the living conditions she was in was somewhat harsh. when we got there to collect her despite the owner having told us over the phone that she was 95percent tame when we got there he told us I must catch her from her cage because sh bites like Crazy! suddenly I was faced with a dissension pay for the bird and rescue it from these poor living conditions despite the fact that it is not tame or leave it and search for another.... well you can see what I had Chosen! I am glad to say she is home safe and sound and ready to start a journey to recovery. she is not in that bad shape apart from being slightly skinny. once home I offered her some dried fruit which she took happily from my hand I then offered her some apple she had no problem taking that from my hand either. she will accept food from my hand but only food if I bring my hand near her without food she bites although I must admit she has bit me four times but only the first one when collecting her was painful the rest were somewhat of I nibble. she seems happy for me to sit next to the cage and she is not being quiet and shy she is playing with the toy and eating and MAKING Mess! ! Lol! but could anyone give me a step by step way to train her and her wings are not clipped should I clip them or take her to the vet? no links please
