And the moment she was on the floor she started squealing and laughing like a super delighted excited baby!

Her reaction made me crack up...what I didn't think was funny, was her wanting to "redecorate" all the wall corners.

I was seriously chasing her around like I would a toddler!

As I was vacuuming, she enjoyed a ride on my shoe and when she got down again and was walking around all full of herself...I realized with no tail feathers she had the look of a guinea hen!

Hahaha! Sooo funny and cute she is.

One never knows what will happen when an Amazon is on the floor. Good to hear that it wasn't toes she was redesigning.

Try 'foot' toys (smaller toys that are simple to lift with an Amazon's foot) as a distraction for the more expensive wall corners.

So very happy for all of you!

Thank you sailboat

I did call out to my son who was home at the time..."DeRita is on the floor so make sure you have your shoes on!"

I'm not exactly sure if her delighted squeal was because she thought she was getting away with something, or if just being on the floor is just THAT exciting for her.

Either way, she was just adorable, but I was prepared with my stick, in case she didn't cooperate when it was time to put her away.

Sometimes, I am amazed at how similar to toddlers they are emotionally.

Still have a LOT to learn, but she is a good teacher, and I try to be a good listener soo so far, we are having great success.

Have a great day!

It is hard to tell. Sometimes I think it is just another view of the world and the joy of seeing it from that angle. My YWA just loved to hang upside down and his eyes would flash with joy every time.

Enjoy seeing the world from a different set of eyes, just like a toddler.

Isn't it great hearing their squeals of delight? Or seeing their happy dance when you walk into a room?

If only you'd gotten her reaction on video! (I'd personally love to see her riding your shoe as you vacuum. Lol)
