Well, I finally found a hahns macaw that is being weaned. He/she is so cute. Here is a picture.

How old is she/he?

How long do you have to wait till home coming?

I found him/her through a breeder. The bird is around 7 weeks old. The breeder say they usualy wean around 12 weeks. It will be determined when the bird is fully weaned.

OMG you have to wait about 5 weeks.... will you last that long LoL

If I didn't have Clover I might not make it but I will be busy getting everything ready for him/her, work, and of course Clover and my small dog will keep me busy.

So much to do.........
Keep yourself busy, make a list of thing to do... etc tick them off ..... it does help pass time and keeps things in prospective

I have the cage set up and hanged up some toys. I order some perches etc and am waiting for that. The breeder emailed me and told me she is pretty certain it is a boy since the pelvic bones are very close together. One thing that took me by surprise is when she said that he says "step up."
