Hey guys, just touching base with you all.
Still haven't gotten my baby girl yet.
There was a bit of a... mixup I guess you could call it.
In short, my girl originally came from BWA in Atlanta, and was moved to BBA due to moving, family issues, and so on to be raised. I was fine with it, but BBA is 6 hours away from me, vrs BWA only being about 3. I had talked with the person who would be raising my baby girl and she agreed to meet me in Atlanta if possible.
Well, I've been delayed two weeks now, because she won't meet me. It's not that I cant drive 12 hours in a day, but I really really don't want to. Not only would be hard on Ken and I, but I imagine it'd be absolutely grueling for the bird too. She won't even drive 1 hour out of her way to possibly help me out with the pickup. It's pretty aggravating.
So now I'm just waiting on her OK to drive to Atlanta and pick up my baby girl... probably sometime after thanksgiving. Ken is getting more and more wary of the idea of driving down there, and is convinced I'm getting ripped off.
I'm not quite sure what to do in this situation, but I'm just waiting and seeing. Thought I'd let you all know I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth and am alright.
