Congratulations! It was an awesome group of holiday birds but what I think what made your photo so special was that she was trying to put an ornament on the tree and that nailed it!

Its hard to tell whats real when AI and photoshop are allowed. Those things arent allowed in other contests ive entered.

Some people like myself spend alot of time and take many many photos to try and get a good one.
Its not fair if some tech savvy person whips up a fake one in minutes.

The type of image that is permissible in our contests is a matter for the individual Mod who is running that particular contest. No determination has yet been made as to whether ai images will be permitted, and to date we have not identified any images that are the result of ai, although we may have to in future if it starts to become an issue. For the record I think genuine photos will always win out among our membership over anything ai-generated, and I would ask that members trust that the Mod team will modify conditions of entry to rule it in or out should it start to become a problem.

I totally agree. Why should we make the effort to take a rare perfect photo?

I can't tell the difference myself unless it's obviously a bird doing something birds can't really do.
