December 2019 POTM Contest!!!

This month's theme is Holiday Greetings!



Happy Holidays, everyone! December is chock full of family holidays. A veritable cornucopia of celebrations, as varied and beautifully diverse as the cultures, religions, outlooks or beliefs from which they originated. And whether we celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Omisoka, Saturnalia, Boxing Day, Ano Viejo, Shalako, Three Kings Day (Yeah, that one's in early January. But close enough! Lol!) or any other family-centric holiday, it's a sure bet our feathered friends are celebrating with us. So why not get them in on the holiday greetings as well?



Please submit a photo or short video (90 sec limit) of your bird's holiday greetings to the Parrot Forums family. You and your family are welcome to join in on the photo as well. The more, the merrier!



Photoshop is allowed, though not required, for this month's contest.



No more than one entry per member, though you are free to post as many related "just for fun" photos as you'd like.



The winner will receive a Free One Year Premium Membership to Parrot Forums, and the winning photo will be displayed on the Home Page for the following month!



Submissions will be accepted from today, December 1st through Sunday, December 29th. (Dates may vary slightly depending on your local timezone) At the conclusion of the submission period, a 3 day poll will be held to determine the winner.

Another trip down Memory Lane from the Rickeybird's Scrapbook.

The Rickeybird visited SANTA!!!! The looks on Santa's and Rbird's faces are funny. Me? I'm just smiling away!
I cringe when I see how I took him out on my shoulder with no harness... we were both young and dumb, especially me. I don't even know if harnesses existed way back then...

This is my entry. It was page 2 of the online Scrapbook posted here by the missus way back in 2016 when she joined the Forums, photo'd from the original actual old-school Scrapbook which was started in the 80's in the land before time when there was no internet. Thank you Stephen for an excuse to post it yet again.
