One of the guys from work just called.
He knows I am off sick for a while and needed a favour.
His sister has a 4 year old Female galah named Blocker ( I don't know why). Since this lady got divorced she has had to go back to work. Coz she is out all day her bird has started plucking from boredom or whatever. She saw the Professor video and has asked if she could come and live here with us. (the bird, not the woman,.....bugga!). Debbie is going to go off her head!
I am actually too scared to tell her, So I was wondering if I gave one of you her work number, you could call and tell her for me?

Sure, no problem. I live half a world away from her, what can she do to me. But for this favor I would like you to send me the Professor:D.
Sorry dude, you're on your own here. But just tell her that you're doing it for the bird, and that it will be a great burden on you. But how can you turn away a depressed, needy bird. Its not your fault that you are a natural bird therapist, it is a God given gift (or curse):D.
I really feel for you Red.
Good luck (will me your birds:D).

Seriously, Debbie went for it. I told her that with a female bird around, the Professor could spend more time outside and less time Destroying her house.
SHE AGREED, on the condition that I cancel the Green Eclectus. Ahhh hang on, I think I may have been duped. She agreed too easily. it should have been harder than that. its like she already knew I was going to ask. I am smelling a rat. I get a ratty plucked Galah and she doesn't have to spend $1350 on my new Eclectus.

Red I think I will just give you a ring about the time Debbie gets home. Hmm This could be interesting.

I don't think that is fair. The person selling that eclectus is counting on their baby going to your home. But if youre happy I will live.
I feel for you man.

Well, you could just send me the eekie ... I have a great home for him here ... that's a win-win-win for everyone ... the breeder gets to keep the money, the baby eekie gets a GREAT HOME and the plucked 'too can go on Holiday to red's house ...
