Hahaha Scott, now there's a party Harry would dearly love to crash, music, buttons, balloons, all with her name.

Very interesting article. Thank you, Scott.

Harry is still up to no good! Yesterday her evening meal was late. She spends her day in the room with the smaller birds, she asked to go back to her cage and when I made her wait before opening the door to her room, she threw a flying, shrieking fit, ambushed the budgies in their cage, batted their toys around and tried to empty their food dishes with her face. She was in a classic Harry snit for the rest of the evening. She used a banana chip to shovel her own meal out of her bowl. She hates banana chips, but she takes them from the other birds and puts them in her cage to use as shovels.

Harry sounds like the kind of parrot who would do very well in my house. She would be welcomed and all her antics, verbal and otherwise, would earn lots of applause!! What a funny story, I can't believe I hadn't seen it until now!

Harry has got to be among the most willful parrots on the planet! Have you considered creating a video of her antics? You could string together a bunch of snippets, entitle it "My Green Dragon" and post it on YouTube. Guaranteed to receive rave reviews globally!!

Scott, she's the most willful parrot I've ever met too. I noticed the other day, I still have a patch of scars on my hand from training Harry not to bite almost two years ago.

I've been trying my best to video Harry for months, she's hard to photograph, she sees the camera and freezes or more often, runs and hides like she's in the witness protection program. Like everything else with Harry, I'll have to outwit her and that's tough since she's smarter than I am.

Now that I don't believe for a single second, dear Allee! You've come up with SO many brilliant ideas to outwit the little green cursing machine - please, give yourself some credit. :D

Harry sounds a lot like Demitre.

Evil to the core, and yet smart, and charming, and entertaining as can be... when he wasn't being a complete stinker!

As shovels! ROTFLMAO!!! That Harry would have me in stitches.. no way I couldn't crack up at her antics. I laugh out loud just reading about them!

I see Harry is still up to her usual tricks. LOL

Mark, I try not to call her names, but you just described her perfectly! And Harry is often a complete stinker. What kind of bird was Demitre?

Oh yes, Valerie! She's added lots of new ones! Some are good, some not so much. She no longer attacks like a rabid vampire, she pulls hair and head-butts and argues instead.
