What, you didn't run right out & get one for him ? ? ? How does the cat rate higher than Danny.....Danny's smarter than the cat ! ! !

At least he's starting to look healthier and more lively! I think that's what matters! Now hopefully he doesn't decide to destroy the cats bed! LOL

Danny looks so much better. Getting baths and getting that beak under contral really helped. His personality is coming out. I do have to watch it he can get really mouthy and has a crushing bite but thats up to me to make sure my fingers stay unflattend.
He still is not eating much. Heath food must be taken in extream small amount just in case it will kill a bird dont you know. :D

Its great [he seems adjusted so quick for a rehome ] The fun begains when they feel comfortable LOL . Does he say anything ? I like his name it suits him :)

He yells " Hello Baby" at the top of his little zon lungs when I come home/ back in the house. ( even after 5 min) my roomate says he can do Beethoven's 5th. When upset he says " please dont lock me out" there is something he is trying to say when he is happy but no one can work it out. I get lots of happy soft zon noises and a really load car alarm. :green1:

I have allways been lucky with birds. When you read there body language you can do more faster. All my guys are rescues and I work with a lot of problem birds.

I read overgrown beaks can result from trauma, lack of nutrition or liver problems.Im impressed you could trim his beak :)

Thank you. My TAG has a beak that was cut off just before I got him. The vet and I worked had but could never get the mandible to grow past the length ofa soft bill, so I have to trim his bottom weekly to keep it from overgrowing. The Tag happly lays up side down as I put trimers in his beak to trim. Danny was not so happy....

A little OT, but Shelly, would be nice to see some photos of your grey's beak so we can see the work you must do! And wish my mitred conure would do the same! LOL He stands in my lap as I trim his beak, restraining his head and trim his beak using a dremel.

After the vet run tomorrow I will take some close ups of Spirit.
