Danger!!!!!

Well a surprising unsettling update on the hawk! It attacked my neighbors mini dachshund!! She had to take the dog to the vet to treat wounds on the back, but the dog is ok the wounds were minor....but
Dang!!! @@ I have two dogs smaller than hers so now I have to be so careful... I wish this hawk would find new hunting grounds.. i has warned my other neighbors with even smaller dogs but had not warned her...ugh... I just never thought it really would attack our dogs!
Wow! I've seen a few YouTube videos of dogs that were running around outside being picked-up off of the ground by huge Raptors, so that's one lucky weiner-dog...

I used to worry about this a lot when my GSD was a puppy. she always had a long leash on no matter what and i would regularly scour the skies because where i live there are many hawks and eagles. i see them perch on our electrical wires and while theyre beautiful im well aware of how fast and deadly they are.

my GSD is much bigger now as an adult, so my worry now rests with our lil caique when hes ready to be out (harnessed). seriously considering a clear umbrella so he can see around while having some protection. or one of those birb backpacks.
