Hey hey, sorry I haven't been around in a while, final week of college and I have too much to do in so little time to do it in.... but still "why the hell am I on here being nosey!?!?!?!?" OH WELL. I just can't stay away ;D
Anyway, back onto my birdie! He's doing just fine, still timid of anyone getting close to him whilst in my room but if you give him an hour to chill he soon gets cheeky and cute! Just takes him an initial hour to watch me or who ever is with me before he loosens up and flies lower of the curtain rail.
I had the best thing happen Tuesday, literally after the saddest day of my life, losing my baby Oskar, Damien did the most wonderful thing. I took him into the shower with me, and when I finished he sorta flapped about landed into my leg and crawled his way up to my shoulder. I FELT SOO HAPPY that he was just on me.. content. He even had a split second of playing with my hair.
I grabbed my hat quickly. I put it on him whilst over my shoulder still, so he wouldn't spook when I went back to my room. I assumed as soon as I take the hat off he would fly away... BUT!!!! He didn't, even in my bedroom he stayed on my shoulder, it was a lovely feeling. I was like "PSSST RYAN GET THE CAMERA" but alas as soon as he went to move Damien flew off with a "tweet tweet tweet!!!" <-- seriously the best moment I ever had with Damien so far, really cheered me up!
