Hello all,
I've had my male lavender pied lovebird Cymry for the past 14 years. Before him I had Fred, a male peach faced for 9 years. Both have been wonderful companions. I'm happy to find a forum to share questions, stories, advice & feedback. I love reading about birds and continuing to learn how they tick and how to be a better companion. I'm retired so my boy stays with me pretty much all day and evening until it's time for bed. He's never really wanted to do much more than be with me. I'm a solitary person so bonding with a lovebird has always been rewarding. Just wondering at this point if I've provided him with as fulfilling an environment as he's entitled to. As I said I continue to learn as we go. Look forward to any feedback from anyone who may have anything to share.
