So those of you that have lovebirds, would you care to tell me your routine with your birds, and take a picture of the bird cage and your bird or birds! ☺
I love reading those things and looking at everyone's cages!

Thank you!

I currently don't have a picture of the cage, I'll show it soon.
My lovebirds routine is quite different from my other birds because she isn't hand tamed.

My others birds (budgie and cockatiel) are uncovered around 7:30-8:00 am, fresh food and water around 8:00-8:05 am, out of cage time from 10:00-10:45 am, and again from 1:00-2:00 pm, covered at 8:30 pm.

My lovebird is uncovered around 7:30-8:00 am, fresh food and water around 8:00-8:05 am, hand taming sessions at 8:10-8:20 am, 1:00-1:10 pm, 7:05-7:15 pm, covered at 8:30 pm.

All my birds get a mist bath twice a week, paper is done once a week, while cages are cleaned once a month, everything else cleaned once every 2 weeks, food and water dishes are cleaned daily.

Thanks for asking about other birds.
The Rb and I "met" when I was in college. Then I worked for about 25 years. Now I'm retired. Our current routine is...
He wakes himself up at dawn. I get up and let him loose at about 8 a.m.. He flies around (under close supervision) while I paint/read/play/whatever.
Around 1 p.m., he is ready for his nap and voluntarily goes to his cage, where he pigs out and then falls asleep.
Around 3 he wakes up and comes out to terrorize us for however many hours it is until sundown (he's on a natural light schedule). At this point, the only way to get him back inside his cage is to toss a green chile into his cage and he flaps in after it. And I can relax!
If you'd like pictures or vids, I would love for you to visit our scrapbook, Youtube, or Pet-of-the-Day links just below. :)
