Hi All!
I have not posted in a while. Just thought I would drop in and give a quick update on Cracker for those who are interested. First I did solve (with a little help (actually alot) from the posters on this forum) Cracker's potty problem. I simply bought a large number of dollar T-Shirts at the Goodwill and keep a large supply of baby wipes on hand. When Cracker does his business he does it on a dollar T-Shirt. I also have the baby wipes in case any of his business gets on me.
I also found away to moderate the time Cracker spends on my shoulder. I do allow him on my shoulder but only give him treats and scritchies when he perches on my arm. This policy has caused Cracker moments of indecision which are quite funny. He will park his feathered butt midway between my shoulder and the place where my wrist begins and arm ends. Then he will sit there for a while as if contemplating which would he rather do perch on my shoulder or perch on my arm and get treats and scritchies. Lately his MO has been to first perch on my arm and get his fill of treats and scritchies and then make a mad dash for my shoulder. I am also glad to report that I have not been bitten by Cracker in some time. I have recieved some warning pecks from him, but I was bitten enough to know these pecks are not true bites. I think he is just letting me know to bugger off or else! Well that is all for now. Hope all of you are doing well.
