African grey parrot- comes with everything - Cambridge Birds for Sale - Kijiji Cambridge Canada.

Before you purchase, you should contact those people and meet the grey, find out its history, a before anything, have tests run for any diseases like PBFD etc

I have a talking now with owner. He lives just 50 km from my city. He didn't make any health tests(

I thought I read yesterday you really wanted a Macaw? Was that you?

Do you have bird experience? Or should I say large bird experience? It sounds as if this bird has had some issues. Have you dealt with a plucker before and are you ready to deal with all that entails? This bird should have full vet work to be sure the problem isn't medical. Then you will have to begin the journey to try and find the reason he is plucking and hopefully get it stopped. Is there a way to go visit the bird and learn more about him firsthand?

Yes it was me. I had an axperience with a cockatiel just. And now I want to take some big parrot for coomunication and take care of him. It can be grey or macaw. We need just a friend cs our daughters became an adult and flew out of the home nest.
I'll go at saturday to owner and look at the bird. You are right about entails with health of this parrot. What price for young african grey or macaw from breeders is common?

First two photos show a plucked timneh. Third photo shows a fully feathered timneh. (at least, from the angle the image was taken) Is it the same bird?

I don't know what the going price is for greys in Canada, but I do know that the price does tend to be more expensive there. Looking at other ads, you could get a hand raised Congo for the same price as these people are selling the Timneh for - a plucked Timneh at that...

Other Timneh's in the "area" are going for $800-$1,000 for older pets... so the price this couple is asking seems rather steep, unless they are willing to take less.

I'm going to see this parrot at Saturday. But if he is a sick and owners ask for so huge money i'll not buy him... Thanks to this forum I've found links to ontario breeders.

Shimmer, I sent them a message to have them send me some pics and while that is a nice cage, it is not an expensive one.....

I don't know what greys sell for in Ontario, but if you add $150 to the average price of a grey around you, you might have a figure to work with.....it looks like they are either trying to make a profit or wanting everything back that they invested for the bird, cage & toys.....

I think $1,300 is too much.....

I looked through a lot of ads about Gray's selling at Ontario. Prices are about 1200-1300 CAD and up to 1500 (sometimes with a cage). Yesterday I bought a very tame African Grey 5 years old. I'm happy about him!

Congrats on your new feathered friend.....

We are here Our Gray Named Serge - Parrot Forum's Gallery
We like our new friend very much! Our boy is extremely serious and taciturn. He is still in a little worry. When I'm giving him a finger he steps on it but his front feathers
are quivering. He often ruffles and smoothes down the feathers.

He is beautiful! Does he speak?
Owner said he can speak a lot. But now he is scared and silent. But when I came at the family room yesterday he said "Good morning". And when we started to turn off lights before going to sleep he said very clearly "Good night".)) Hope he can speak and think))

Very nice looking bird Shimmer.....
Thank you) I had four appointments at Toronto at last Sunday. But when we came to the first point we saw a very friendly Grey that let us take him... We didn't drive to another parrot's owners. It was our boy at the first glance)
