great minds think alike...that was going to be my next years costume, dress up as a pirate & have my parrot on my shoulder....im going to teach Haro to say AAARRRRGGGHHHHH....lol

Lol that's what I did last year!! I don't have any pictures, but I had a parrot with my pirate costume :D It was just too cold to bring her trick-or-treating. I wish we could bring parrots to school! I would have .

My friend taught Diego to say "Don't eat me!" He would say that if anyone tried to pick him up off my shoulder. When he visited the vet and they were going to draw blood from him, the tech had him in a towel and holding him while the vet was coming at him with a needle and Diego says "Don't eat me!" The vet was laughing so hard she almost dropped the needle. It was so funny.

That's the funniest thing I've heard all day! Off topic from costumes but it made me think of this, the first few weeks we had billie, my room mate had apparently been wolf whistling at him, but I didn't realize this. I took him into the shower with me and he waited until I was completely undressed and then wolf whistled at me! It was the first time I had ever heard him do it and I was laughing so hard, I walked out of the bathroom and was going to ask my bf if he just heard was his bird did, but before I could ask I realized he was laughing hysterically as well. And still, the only time he ever does his whistle is if my bf or I are getting changed where he can see us lol

OMG..I had a cockatiel that wolf whistled. He did it at the most INAPPROPRIATE times. When I was undressed like yours does but when I had him in a clear carrier and was walking though a hotel lobby a bunch of men were standing around and my bird wolf whistled. All the men turn and look at me saying.."thanks" I was so embarrassed I pointed at my container with the little bird sitting in there and said "The bird did it not me" and the men said "sure...right"...They didn't believe me.
