I never give Archie the husk, but any danger in it?

It seems like he might have fun shredding it, even if he doesn’t eat it.

I never tried that.
My gut reaction is it would be ok provided they were washed off first.
One or two of my Amazon’s would chew up the cobb to a pulpy mess.

Corn Husks?

Rescent field tests came back positive:

As stated above, likely not a problem. That said and as stated above, washing is highly recommended as at least the outer couple of layers have /could have been dragged though most anything.

Having eaten the corn from the cob, the cob is a choice play 'thing.'

Our spoiled DYH 'kid' gets mad if his staff are not joy on the spot to turn his cob for him!

Seems to me, there's an awful lot of shredding toys made from dried, often colored husks. I have a few around. Typical of many toys, if my guys take a liking to one, it's destroyed in minutes. If they don't, it can sit forever until I rotate it out.

Amy loves 'em. I get a package of Birdseye mini corn cob and wash thoroughly. I heat one in the nuke machine for two minutes ( when they are still frozen) then cut the cob in half and make sure it's cool. He'll chow down the kernels then rip the cob to shreds. Ya it's messy but he enjoys it.
