Hi all. My 2 year old Conure seems to have “dizziness” or acts un-stable or drunk after flying around the room. It lasts for about a minute and then all is okay. He will lay prone and hang onto his climbing net with his beak trying to stabilize himself. Then all is okay. He plays normally.
When I researched this, it seems quite a few people have seen their bird do this also and the consensus seems to be that since they don’t fly a lot, their lungs/heart is not used to it like a human that is out of shape.
My question is, if this is true, can anything be done to help alleviate this or get them into shape?
