Congo or timneh HELP!!!

So in my area theres literally no breeders who have any CAG's for sale if anyone knows of any let me know im 25 mins north of Barrie Ontario! There is a lady who is a registered breeder and she has i think 8 TAG's for sale hand fed hand raised. Im just wondering whats the real difference between the congo african grey and the smaller timneh african grey? I always wanted a congo but is the timneh a better choice? Thanks everyone!
If anyone knows of breeders with CAG's near me id love to find out about them! Thanks

TAG's are reportedly not as neurotic as CAG's ... they are apparently less complicated personality-wise and more adaptable ... have fewer behavioral issues. They are reported to talk as well as CAG's, but I'm not sure that's true. Although TAG's are great mimics, from hearing various birds I think CAG's are able to respond with more complex and appropriate comments. I think CAG's talk a bit more clearly as well.

I don't think you could go wrong with either one. The personalities are similar and the few I've known there wasn't any more neurosis in the CAGs than TAGs.

Apparently research has shown that CAG's spend a year with their parents before becoming independent members of the flock, while TAG's reach that point after only six months. It has been hypothesized that CAG behavioral issues are rooted in them being forced to become independent when they are too young.

sorry can't comment on TAG's but I have a CAG and she has no behaviorial issues and is an absolute darling I wouldn't be without her.
Over here in England it's the wrong time of year for breeding maybe that's y ur having an issue finding some atm.
