Coming out of his shell

I'm so red in the face right now and have tears down my face but it's a good thing it's because I've been laughing so much

We rehomed Merlin this morning with his new owners ANd since then mikki has really come out of his shell
he is wolf whistling to us and saying hello something he had only ever done once before
Then just before as I was reading the post from Von about cal and stinky people I laughed and he copied me the more I did it he did it it was so cute
I will have to get a recording of it it's just the sweetest noise ever

I feel rather sorry for mikki and feel he must have been rather depressed living with Merlin

This morning he rushed straight to top of his cage to come out
saying hello and wolf whistling at me

I then put him on his perch while making the kids toast he looks at me and says
what ya doing
to which I replied making toast you want some
yes please says mikki and thankyou when I gave it to him

So I'm sitting there totally god smacked already when he says to me
come on eat up you hungry
I say no thanks mikki

I'm glad mikki is so happy now it brings such a smile to my face

Merlin has settled in well and the girl hebwas set up with has already taken a shine to him

Aww that's great!! I'm so glad Mikki finally opened up, he probably felt bad that he now had to "compete" for affection. Sounds like he's a real talker!!
