I guess as a nursing student and living in the US, I cannot concieve of a time where I couldn't go to a grocery store abd buy a gallon of the stuff for $5.

Well, one thing I read said it's used in the production of illegal drugs. Australian law has a tendency to punish everyone for the actions of a few unfortunately.

And that pirate ship is AWESOME. Colouring is definitely worthwhile.

I just recently got a kid's plastic pirate ship that I thought my birds would like, but your one is way better.
