I'm having trouble determining if Perjo (CAG) likes coconut oil. I have put it in a bowl with a few pellets, and she doesn't seem all that interested. I put some on my finger and she nips at my finger, gets a taste and keeps nipping, but not a "Mmm I like that nip". More like a "that stuff smells, get it out of here" nip.

But I have also noticed Perjo didn't like something I gave her to eat at first a few times, then the second or third time she ate it all up. Like Flaxseeds. She didn't touch them a week ago, today she's been eating them for hours.

I was having an awful time getting two of my parrots to eat chop, they were both older rehomes and I don't think they had been introduced to vegetables. I started mixing just a couple drops of coconut oil into the chop mix and they finally decided chop was food after all. I still add it to their chop a couple times a week.
