Hey there guys! I am new to this forum, let me tell you guys from the start.
I brought a pair of grey and lotino cockatiel, 3 months ago. Seller told me they are 14 months old and they have had successfully bred once with him and raised 3 chicks.
Pair laid eggs within 15-20 days at my home. Female laid 5 eggs in a span of week. But the weird thing that happened was that only male incubated the eggs after the last egg was laid. I mean even at night only male incubated the eggs and female completely ignored her responsibilities. Around 15 days male stopped incubating. 4 eggs were fertile but got bad due to being left alone.
After around a month female laid eggs again. Around 6 eggs. This time they both incubated the eggs but only in morning, at night they would come out and sit on the perch. They did this for whole 20 days or more and then stopped. All eggs were fertile but gone bad. Now i have removed the eggs, changed their nest box, changed the cage but not really much change in location.
So now i need ur advice friends, like what's wrong, and how to correct it. I would really appreciate your help. I just want them to breed some cute babies😅
