My wife went to the Post Office this morning and brought home a package that I was expecting. I had ordered Tiki like $50.00 worth of new toys last week and they showed up this morning.

The rope bouncy perch was one of the first things I hung up for her and as you can tell, it's a BIG hit.

My wife says Tiki's cage looks like an amusement park now without adding anything else. But I say, I'm retired, no kids at home so Tiki gets all the spoiling. Well except for my wife who just got back from a two trip to St. Thomas last week. I take care of my ladies. hahahahaha ;)

Awwww Tiki looks like she's having loads of fun! :)

I wanna be your bird!! I see you do the newspaper thing in front of the cage too. I put it under a small rug because the ink was rubbing off on the main carpet. Love the new set up. Lucky birdie.

I love the basket thing, I bet Tiki does too! Merlin loves climbing in & out of things.

Oh yeah, she loves climbing around on it and now with the rope bouncy perch next to it, she goes from one to the other. I haven't heard much of a peep out of her for the last two days. She's actually blowing me off a bit when I go to get her to come out and play.

She usually hangs out with me most of the day either on my shoulder or on my knee or on a chair next to me. But since I put those new toys in her cage, she has been spening most time on her cage. I'm feeling a tad lonely and left out.:(

Oooooh Yeah, the news papers sure make it a lot easier job to clean up after her. Fortunately for me, I have a hard floor that has some type of covering on it that was poured on years ago. So it's basically maintenance free other than passing a mop on it every few days. I would hate to she a carpeted floor with Tiki.

Is that a Cal. Cage??
No, I don't think so. It came with Tiki when I got her. It's not a cheap cage. I found one at the pet store near me identical to it and it was $199.00.

I planning to get her a bigger cage for Xmas so that I can hang more stuff. But then again, she is really only in her cage at night time to sleep.

I have got out of the habit of having toys in Merlins cage, he's hardly ever in it. He has toys hanging on the playtop, but he's mainly interested in foot toys & chew up toys. & you know Tiki will get bored & come back to her favorite toy, You.

Sorry to bring back a kinda old thread, but where'd u get the basket? I really want one!!

I wanna know about the basket too! LOL.

I just ordered a bunch of toys for Puck. My bf thinks I'm nuts.
