Chinchilla Baby!

My 2 Chinchilla's, Maybelle and Whiskers would like to announce the birth of their first baby! SO CUTE! I will try and get pictures tomorrow if they will let me (Maybelle and Whiskers are sweet but they've never been parents before so I don't want to upset them.) I almost gave my family a heart attack when I started screaming MY CHINCHILLAS HAD A BABY!! WHOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!:jumping40

That's awesome! I had chinchillas back in the day years ago. Fun pets when they are tame enough to play with. mine never had babies. I would LOVE to see pics if they will let you close enough!

I'll try Amanda! He's so tiny! He was all cuddled up next to his mama looking sleepy and my heart just melted. Such big ears though, may end up calling him Dumbo!

Maybelle and Whiskers are really calm chins, they didn't mind me messing around with their baby at all so I was able to scoop him/her up for a cuddle

Aaaaaaaaawwwwww!! Chinchillas are that animal that ALWAYS tempts me at the pet store, but I refuse to buy because I know that I personally do not really want to do the work that is involved in taking good care of that pet. For this reason I need to be friends with people who have them, so that I can play with them without having my own. Thus, when I get back to the mainland, I am inviting myself to your house to play with your chinchillas!! (Dont worry, I will not actually do this, since we are only internet friends and that would be CREEPY).

I never really liked Chinchillas before until I came across Whiskers on CL this past summer, something about him kept calling to me and when he was still on a month and a half later I decided to contact his owners and bring him home. Then because they sold his buddy to a different person I HAD to get him a pal (Maybelle) and you've seen the outcome! Oh! You should come on over sometime Dani! I can give you the grand tour of all the animals and bore you as I ramble on and on and on about each one............ Yay! Another victim! errrr, VISITOR!
