Love the Zaffer!! He is adorable & has good rhythm. I would also love to meet a Hy in person, would be awesome to see that!

I sometimes sing to my boys. The two songs they like the most is "Another One Bites the Dust" and "Play That Funky Music". I will dance around while I sing it & they get excited. They don't dance or sing along, but they stop whatever they are doing & laugh a lot. I think they are trying to tell me something about my singing. LOL

My Zons definitely go GAGA over music, but Niko bounces and sways to the rythm now, too. Ripley's going to learn to do it to - so I hope, especially since I dance around with all of them.

Such a talented dancer and you're a good whistler. I can't whistle any kind of tune. I can only mimic Kayak's whistle.

Now I really want to go watch Rio. Maybe I should watch it with the birds. I don't think they've seen it yet. They've watched just about every other cartoon I own.
I was scared to death when I saw a bunch of Hyacinths in person. Those beaks and feet scare me! They were the most gentle birds out at Bird Paradise and I was still a big baby keeping back like 20 feet from their stands. I eventually went up and held one and was able to pet him... after my friend who has never owned a bird in her life went up to them. I won't lie, my heart was pounding so hard in my chest. I don't know what makes me nervous around them. My friend kept joking "They're just 'paranoid parrots'. It's not a big deal. You like 'paranoid parrot'!" Paranoid Parrot | Know Your Meme I laugh at it now, but you think they would've told me to play in a cage with a few bears with how nervous I was.

Hey, I just noticed something... the Hyacinth image used for Paranoid Parrot IS the identical Hyacinth image used on the ParrotForums.com banner. It's just been mirror-flipped. Look at the layering lines on its beak and its feather edges. It's the same picture. I guess maybe they got it from the same source... or maybe Paranoid Parrot got it from PF

LOL. I do the exact opposite. When they have one of their Hys out, I literally RUN over there so I can play, pat and cuddle.

I was not leaving until I worked up the courage to go at least pet them! They were really soft and they did smell good!!! I always play with the smaller birds. I love playing with their Sun Conures. OMG I love when I stick my arm in their little enclosure and like 6 of them run up my arm and climb around on my shoulders and get in my hair. They're so cute. I'll spend more time playing with those guys than with any of the others. The big guys still freak me out but I'm working on getting over that fear. (it's not like I ever got bit or anything... idk where they fear comes from)

It is!!!! I never realized that. I don't know who got it from where! Paranoid parrot has only been around for a couple years, the forum has been around longer. I wonder when they redid the banner, lol
